CENTER FOR SOCIAL VISION

Founded in 2021, Center for Social Vision is a platform and conceptual space for sharing knowledge, policies, and practices to explore the intersection between art and society., seeking moments of dialogue, reflection, and situated cultural practices—those that are grounded in specific contexts and responsive to broader social and cultural narratives. Through active engagement in public debate, Center for Social Vision aims to foster initiative and build networks, creating space for collaboration across disciplines and geographies. Our practice moves between the white cube and public space, combining curatorial experimentation with civic engagement. It is supported by a wide network of collaborators and researchers, both in Sofia and internationally, who share a commitment to cultural work as a form of social imagination and collective agency.

  • OPEN CALL – IMAGINING CITIES

As part of the second edition of Nine Elephants Festival (10-20 July 2025), we invite artists, curators, researchers, and cultural professionals to join Imagining Cities, an open and informal practice-sharing event in Sofia. We’re interested in situated artistic and cultural practices that create space for reflection, imagination, and action – practices that can activate long-term processes and contribute to broader narratives of change.
