URBAN STORYTELLERS JOURNAL
We’re happy to share the Urban Storytellers Journal – a collective publication bringing together the voices, reflections, and projects developed within the Urban Storytelling School.
Part travel diary, part shared notebook, the journal traces a year of exchange between Sofia and Berlin – of walking, mapping, storytelling, and reimagining urban life. Inside, you’ll find project documentations, interviews, and discussions on topics such as public space, participation, care, identity, memory, and collective imagination – all shaped by the perspectives of young cultural practitioners.
The publication is a result of the contributions of the participants and collaborators – through their texts, visual essays, project documentations, interviews, and conversations:
Elena Balabanska • Viktoria Draganova • Eleonora Edreva • Maria Getova • Guglielmo Sandri Giachino • Desislava Haak • Anna Ivanova • Charlotte Kachelmann • Britta Kaufhold • Sofie Bang Kirkegaard • Maria Fallada Llandrich • Izabela Markova • Jamie McGhee • Vladya Mihailova • Viktor Damov • Dimitar Nikolov • Ana-Maria Molnar • Asya Petkova • Ksenia Porechina • Katya Romanova
Designed by Crunchy Oyster, the journal moves through four open chapters – In-between Spaces, Futures, (Unter) Construction, and (Day)Dreaming – each offering a distinct way to think, feel, and imagine the city.
The PDF version is available on the Urban Storytelling School webpage, while the conversations and reflections featured in the journal will be shared on Journal for Social Vision and CITYMAKERS.
